And yet by every economic metric, the awaited or inevitable "AI job crisis" has not happened, or even any sign of it. Also, large swath of jobs, like service sector, blue collar, etc.--cannot be automated by just computers. I have no idea why people keep taking these overrated experts seriously. Even his Pandemic warning was vague. yes, pandemics will happen; this is a historical statistical fact 0ing back since the dawn of humans. Him warning it in a book is not new unless he could pinpoint where and when, which he didn't.
