Horizontal Infrastructure for Building Computer Vision Applications
As we are very close to launching our first working pipeline, I would like to give a brief introduction about "The AdamEyes Project". This project started with a thought to mimic human like vision system for machines.
Our goal is ambitious: Simple enough that a 10th-grade student can use it for a school project Powerful enough to build Industrial and military grade computer vision applications.
We are still early in this journey, but we’ve made meaningful progress.
So far, we’ve built the foundational horizontal infrastructure: AdamEyes + AdamNerve This acts as a base layer to develop multiple computer vision applications on top.
As a first step, we’ve tested an elderly care surveillance system, and the results are promising. Key Decisions We’ve Made 1. AdamEyes will be open source 2. It will be license-free for community use 3. Keep platform input agnostic and platform agnostic 4. As the community grows, we envision creating dedicated spaces—both online and physical—for collaboration, learning, and innovation.
GitHub and source code will be shared soon. Follow our journey and be part of building AdamEyes. Join The AdamEyes Project page on LinkedIn.
